At The Stuttering Hub we believe in transparency when it comes to fees. Please find our complete list of fees below:
Our hourly rate is $189.90 (inclusive of GST). This includes assessment, therapy, travel, report writing, collaboration/ communication with other professionals involved in a client’s care (eg: GPs, paediatricians, occupational therapists, psychologists, and teachers). Any charge that is extra to clinical time spent with the client will be discussed before hand.
- Assessments (60 minutes): $189.90
- Therapy sessions (45 minutes): $142.43
- Therapy sessions (30 mins): $94.95
- Travel (15 mins): $47.48
Funding
Medicare
The Stuttering Hub is a registered Medicare provider. Eligible clients can receive a rebate for speech pathology services under a Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDM). This plan entitles clients to five subsidised sessions per calendar year. The current rebate is $60.35. In order receive this rebate clients must book a consultation with their GP before their initial consultation with us. The Chronic Disease Management Plan must be presented at your initial consultation in order to claim the rebate.

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
The NDIS provides supports to people living with a disability. The Stuttering Hub can provide services for clients who are either self-managed or plan-managed.

Private Health Insurance
Speech Pathology may be covered by your private health insurance fund if you have extras cover. Consult your fund if you are eligible to claim.
